The turning of the year is a chance to pause, reflect, and choose a direction. For this “Dear Me” devotion, DSF slaves and servants wrote short letters to their future selves – capturing what they hope to grow into, remember, or change in the year ahead.

shovelbum d’Elf (talis)
Dear Santa, Keeper of Snow and Secrets,
From a hearth-lit desk where the year takes a bow,
I write not for toys, not for silk or for plough,
But for something brighter, steadier, true,
A wish for the Divine, and for DSF too.I wish for a circle where voices are clear,
Where power is held gently, never through fear,
Where consent is the compass, respect is the rule,
And wisdom walks in, calm, sharp, and cool.Let the space be warm, yet daringly vast,
Rooted in now, but aware of the past,
Where devotion has depth, not noise or display,
And silence can speak just as loud as the say.I wish for guardians patient and wise,
For dialogue honest, no veils, no disguise,
For curiosity welcomed, for care to be shown,
For each path respected, each boundary known. And Santa, I promise this is not just a plea,
Because the gift I ask starts inward, with me.
I’ll bring steady presence, not spectacle or flame,
I’ll speak with intention, not chasing a name.I’ll contribute with listening, thoughtful and slow,
With questions that open, not answers to throw,
With language that builds and never divides,
With loyalty earned, not worn as a guise.I’ll tend the small rituals that make trust grow,
A whipping, a coin toss, an edging, at the time set by the Divine
I’ll help keep the tone both grounded and kind,
So the Divine feels lived, not frozen in mind.So Santa, if lists are still kept up your sleeve,
Place this wish softly, let it quietly breathe:
A DSF that endures, by care reinforced,
By those who serve meaning, not ego or force. No ribbon required, no glittering sign,
Just people aligned with the deeply Divine.
That’s my wish for the year, simple, sincere,
Sent north with respect, and a steady good cheer. With warmth,
—and a promise to show up, not just to appear

Banging d’Elf (Echo)
For 2026, I aim for a more positive year, Both Mentally and Physically. Involving losing weight, Transitioning and for mental wellbeing, and just trying to think more positively and be a more happy person inside.
I am not too sure what to ask of the Divine for the All I want for Christmas is… task as I have found out during the last few months is that they understand situations much more clearly than me and are able to provide an item/assistance or help a lot more than if i was alone. I Guess my answer to thank the Divine and everyone else for all the help, support and friendship that has been shared

FancyPants d’Elf (Hylarks)
Dear Hylarks, (2025 Version leading to 2026 version)
(Yes, that is intentional. Laughter is good medicine.)
From one Hylarks to another, I hope this letter finds you well and managing the present chaos with your usual flair. I’m writing to you from a point in the future where things have settled down a bit, to give you a nudge, a congratulations, and some advice.
First off, your wife is doing great up here in the future, but I remember how tough the lead-up to her second hip surgery felt. It’s coming up soon in the new year for you. Remember that she is strong, you are a great support system, and the recovery journey is temporary. You both get through it just fine.
I know you’re currently wrangling with a big decision: picking a retirement date. I’m telling you now, just bite the bullet and pick one! The relief is immense once the plan starts solidifying. We are busy! Our retirement plan includes hitting the road for camping trips, booking those overseas travel adventures we always talked about, and yes, we are actually volunteering in the theatre locally. It’s exactly as fun as we hoped. Get that date finalized so you can start booking those flights.
Speaking of discipline, a huge congratulations on the 25 lbs lost so far! That is serious progress, and I am proud of us. Don’t you dare lose sight of the ultimate goal of 185 lbs. Keep those Factor meals coming—they are clearly working and making life easier. The journey continues, so stay focused on your health.
You only have a couple of years left of your career touring the concert circuit as a tractor-trailer driver. Look, you’ve done this for a long time, and you’re good at it. Start enjoying the last run. Take time to say goodbye to your friends on the road properly. These are bonds you won’t easily replicate in retirement. Cherish every mile, every load-in, and every accomplishment of your long career. You’ve earned the respect you get out there.
A simple note: remember to look out that condo window of yours a bit more often. I know you get busy, but the view can genuinely reenergize you. I look out the very same window now, just further along the timeline, and the peaceful perspective it offers is priceless. Take a minute each day to just watch the world go by.
And finally, yes, I still love Second Life. That piece of land you bought? It’s doubled in price, you smart cookie. You’re happy and content in the community of Divine Sadism Femdom. Divine Sadism Femdom is still the place we cherish and belong and serving the Divine is still very rewarding. Some things never change, and that’s a good thing.
Keep your chin up, Hylarks. The future is bright, busy, and full of laughter.
All the best,
Hylarks (Future Edition)
