When I chat with F/friends who are not online in Second Life, or perhaps don’t even really get online beyond checking email, Facebook, or watching the occasional YouTube video, I’m often met with confused looks and weird comments about, “that’s not REAL, why are you so into it?“
Most of these F/folks don’t even know I have been in the lifestyle for three plus decades. I’ve also been a ‘gamer girl’ as long. So what is the value?
Well, E/everyone you ask will likely have different reasons, but for Me, the Internet — and particularly My SL community — has afforded Me ‘connection’ that I would not be able to enjoy, nearly as much, offline… and limited to My local area.
I adore having a global D/s family with whom I can can share knowledge, experiences, laughter, learning, and play with. Long-distance, collaborative engagement is so very enriching. W/we practice SSC, RACK, PRICK and it is unbelievably rich and satisfying.
There are other F/friends in SL who only practice off-grid, and even for them, the value of virtual play can be lost. I find that unfortunate, for T/they are missing out on a great deal of fun, pleasure, pain… all measured, and shared, via numerous time zones. The experiences are as intimate and memorable as any RL play party I’ve attended. In fact, even more so, for My community at DSF really is more like chosen family. W/we screen M/members, and voice-verify P/participants, to ensure the alignment, like-mindedness, and focused group goals of A/all.
We work hard, play hard, hurt — but never harm.
Today, like each month, W/we have a huge, themed FINALE EVENT. “The Assfoolery & Bawdyville Show” was O/our biggest yet, and took the efforts of M/many. Kudos to O/our “Event Planning Team” and their “Event Coordinator”, slave Talis. An INCREDIBLE job!

S/some will ‘get it’ (virtual communities) and S/some won’t. It’s fine. To each T/their own. But for Me, My life wouldn’t nearly be as joyful, enriched, or exciting without Divine Sadism Femdom and T/those who make it the most unique Femdom in the Metaverse! HUZZAH!
