Tonight, Miss Rosa facilitated a wonderful Salon on the topic of “Sadism – What Kind of Sadist are You?”.
Great conversation was had around the subject, with questions and comments regarding, “What does your sadism mean to you? Do you shy away from identifying as a sadist? If so, why, or why not?“
Towards the end of the discussion, I shared how much I enjoy My sadism, and consider it an artform really. My subject, becoming My canvas, and My use of various implements, methods, and ministrations, help Me create a transformative experience and mistresspiece (a twist on masterpiece ;).

Understanding that sadism has stigma associated with it to most that do not practice it, W/we talked about how W/we present O/our sadism to the world, if W/we present it to the world, and what would happen were W/we left with no other option but to own up to it.
Again, I personally do not disclose information about My private life, as I feel it is no one’s business. However, I will not deny My involvement in, and pleasures of, D/s & BDSM, I am unashamed, as I know — with conviction — where I stand, heart/mind/soul on the matter.
I strive to learn, grow, and leave others in a better, more positive state, than when I first met them. Sadism is not for everyone, nor does it have to be accepted by everyone. It is a practice between two or more consenting adults that have agreed to explore some light-to-extreme activities together.
I do not believe sadism needs to be ‘normalized’. But I do believe it needs to be handled carefully, considerately, responsibly, respectfully, and with informed consent of all involved adults.
Next week, on Wednesday the 17th, DSF will host Part II of this Salon Discussion. Join U/us in SL at 5pm SLT if you are free to do so. It will definitely be interesting and engaging! W/we hope to see you there!
