In the realm of Second Life, many just wish to log in and play a game. And that is perfectly fine to do so. But, Y/you also have the opportunity to take a deeper dive into Y/your lifestyle experience, here, in the metaverse.
I, for One, am a creature of substance — meaning, I find the most joy and delight in drilling deep into the core of a P/person. Getting to really know T/them, T/their pleasures and pains. To experience that vulnerability, in a safe space, that allows for personal development, introspection, shared knowledge, and yes, the dreaded ‘change’.
Change, by its very nature, is uncomfortable due to the shift to unknown waters and territories. It may force O/our hands to release that which W/we are not yet ready to dispose of, and welcome that which W/we may not feel ready to accept. But, regardless, change will happen. So, prepare for it.
I have learned over the years to welcome change in My life as an inevitable part of it that I cannot completely control. This can be especially hard for D-types (and sure, s-types as well). And through My daily practice of mindfulness, I recognize these discomforts and uncertainties, and leave it up to the Universe to be My guide. I’m still here, after five plus decades, so change has not defeated Me yet. Nor will it do so at the time of My passing. Again, it is a natural path… to change, to transform, to be a part of the metamorphosis.
