Hello beloved Community! It is I, Divine Queen Bitch Tanarra, back from a two week road trip across America. While it was lovely to see parts of the country I’ve never traveled before, this trip was also grueling, in that we were on the road for 8 days out of the 14 total days. But, it was very special, as we (My older sister and I) were trekking the ‘grandmother of the bride’ to a wedding in Las Vegas (technically, Nelson, NV… near Searchlight). More on that later…
But, during this excursion, I also had the privilege of meeting one of my dear Sisters in Sadism, Divine Duchess Nellie, who resides in Nevada. I also met, Jae Avedon, a male dominant who I’ve known for 12 years in SL.
The opportunity to visit with years-long friends from online is not something E/everyone aspires to do — and I don’t wish to do it with E/everyone, but, I feel truly blessed that I had the opportunity on this trip.
I’d like to keep my experience focused on My Sister, Nellie, who is just as amazing in RL, as you’d imagine. She is beautiful, funny, smart, caring, generous, and she saved My ass when I was in desperate need of some medical items that I had forgotten at home.
The “Divine Auditor” as W/we know Her best, even agreed to meet Me for lunch at a Casino… WOW! Thanks, Sis! We shared a delicious lunch together at the Freedom Beat in The Downtown Grand Hotel on Fremont Street. Three hours passed in the blink of an eye as We chatted so easily about SL, RL, politics, craziness, and then some.
In SL, W/we know that not E/everyone presents themselves as honestly as the Divine do — but truly, getting together with Duchess Nellie felt like meeting a lifelong friend, and catching up after some time apart. I LOVED IT!
So, if the opportunity for Y/you arises to meet friends from online, would Y/you do it? I say, YES! If Y/you are comfortable, and feel safe with T/them online (after several years… or even several months), then why not? Still, use common sense. Meet in a public, well lit place. Bring a friend or family member if Y/you are nervous. But remember, W/we are all human, and there is “nothing to fear, but fear itself.”
And as for Jae, who is the owner of P3 (Pleasure Power Passion) in SL — a mixed BDSM sim — he was an absolute gentleman, and too, exactly the same as I’ve known him to be in SL. Thank you Both for taking time to meet ‘the terrible Tanarra’, and I hope life allows Our paths to cross again in the future.
