We live in a world that is all about multi-tasking. How much can you accomplish in the limited 24-hours-a-day that you are given?
We hustle and bustle from home, to work, to the gym, to the grocery store, to the doctor, etc. etc. The world becomes a blur of repetition and reruns. If we’re not careful, we get absorbed by the ‘grind’, and not the good kind of grind.
In collaborative D/s, such as you’ll find at DSF, the need to FOCUS is even more imperative, so you do not miss the joy, the pain, the wisdom imparted, and the corrections, intended to educate, and develop both Divine and slave.
It’s natural to have O/our minds drift and wander, and you must work that muscle memory, and re-train your brain to be ever present… in the moment.
Divine will often remind slaves to focus on Those who are before them, in the now. To mono-task. To disconnect from everything beyond O/our virtual landscape and brief moments together. For they will be fleeting, and they will end eventually. But permanent carvings upon your gooey membranes and weak flesh will We make.
Divine Sadism is about Her. Not you. Divine will… not your thrill.
