As a big fan of High Protocol, i was glad to get this assignment on the topic by Editor in Chief, Divine Queen Bitch Tanarra. Before describing why I’m a fan, i suppose i should define what it actually means. According to Webster – ok, scratch that. According to this DSF slave columnist, High Protocol describes the ways in which a Dominant and submissive or slave are expected to engage with each other to establish or re-enforce the natural hierarchy between them. And since this is DSF, for the purposes of this article, it’s describing that for the Divine Goddesses and slaves here.
There are so many delightful ways in which High Protocol can be expressed, it’s hard to know where to start. Speech and dress restrictions for slaves, the manner in which a slave is expected to greet a Goddess, the use of honorifics – and whatever the opposite of that is for slaves (humblerifics?) – sitting or kneeling expectations for slaves while in the presence of a Goddess, and so much more.
DSF is not a place for those on either side of the leash who enjoy a more casual dynamic since it most certainly is a High Protocol environment here. But for those of us who feel a flutter in our heart – and quite possibly, loins – from the continual reminders of our place that High Protocol provides, DSF is THE place.
