With a nod to Independence Day, earlier this month, today’s blog topic is freedom through submission. And even more specifically, freedom through submission to the Divine Goddesses. We all wear many hats in our daily lives – husband, Wife, colleague, friend, Amazon purchaser, Netflix subscriber, …. – most of which are encouraged by society and culture. But there are a few unusually shaped, differently colored hats most of us keep hidden somewhere in our attics (or perhaps they rest more comfortably in our cellars), only tried on now and again in privacy, during those occasional moments when we peer deeper inside of ourselves. The hats society wags a ‘not on my watch’ finger at.
So here’s one of those hats: Appreciating the beauty in Women to such an extent that that appreciation quickly dissolves into gratitude. And that gratitude dutifully reshapes itself into a submission that soon blossoms into devotion. Those last two are where the seriousness and the fun start to emerge.

We may not want our neighbors peering in our windows as we kneel before our Wife or Mistress. We’d certainly hope they’d have the good manners to turn their heads if they caught us then bending over to bring our lips lightly to the tops of Her feet as a show of our respect. And please just pack the kids into the Tesla and silently speed off to the gourmet market – the one where they sell those differently-ingrediented pizzas – when you hear us cry out our thank-yous for each kiss of Her whip to our bare asses while we wrap our hands around the ropes that bind us, in splayed place, to better steady ourselves.
Thank you, Divine Goddesses, for creating a safe haven where we have the freedom to all wear that hat together. And perhaps over time we’ll start to wear it more often around the house. And who knows, maybe one day we’ll smile to our neighbors as they spot us wearing it, picking up our own differently-ingrediented pizza at the market.
