Happy Summer to O/our community and readers of the blog! June 21st is the first day of Summer, known as the Summer Solstice.
Solstice means “sun standing still” in Latin. On the summer solstice, the sun’s daily northward movement in the sky appears to pause, and the sun rises and sets at its northernmost points on the horizon. After the solstice, sunrise and sunset shift southward again and we slowly begin to lose daylight.

For slaves of the community, it truly is the longest day, as was discovered by “Cassie”. The wicked Sisters at DSF decided to turn her avatar into a newt! Wait, is that a newt? Actually it was for Cassie’s naughty dickery on deck! How fun!

So on this special day, as the Wheel of the Year continues to turn, enjoy the LIGHT in your life, stay ever present and focused on the here and now. Have fun, have adventures, step out of your comfort zone, and set some goals as W/we enter the dark half of the year. Be blessed.
