Well, W/we accomplished a ‘new thing’ in the community today. W/we figured out how to record video in SL and use it for event promotion. W/we were super excited to start Vlogging and using YouTube to further reach community members and promote both DSF and SL. However, YT had other plans. Although our video was marked as 18+ ADULT, and there was no nudity in the clip, virtual or otherwise, YT felt it was suggestive and in violation of their ToS. So, instead of a slap on the hand, they decided they’d just terminate the channel.
Now I’ve seen much more suggestive content on YT than O/our little promo, but I guess those folks didn’t have the word ‘sadism’ tied into it. What’s a sadist to do? Eh?
